The development of the conceptual design of the battery charger for electric cars has an inventive approach to the solution of the problem in such a way that the batteries for electric cars are easily replaceable, and charging them while they are installed in the car is avoided.
The project envisages that upon arrival at the charging station, a special scanner will read the state of the battery and offer the customer different options:
– a full battery with the same characteristics
– a newer full battery with the same characteristics
– brand new full battery with the possibility of recycling the old one (sending old batteries for repair)
At that moment, the customer decides on the option and makes the payment.
The second part of the project is the delivery from a special warehouse of a second battery, which is placed in the place of the previously removed battery in the customer’s car. It is an absolute novelty in the approach to battery charging solutions. The entire procedure takes 5-10 minutes, which equates to stopping the car as in the case of a gasoline or diesel-powered car.
A discharged battery (if it is technically correct) is automatically put into the charging process for up to 10 hours, with a maximum charge of 10%, in this way the battery is charged with smaller currents and thus increases its durability.
Since the charged battery does not take up too much space, it is possible to have hundreds of ready-made batteries in storage (charging stations), with each newly installed battery ready for further use after 10 hours.
As stated, charging currents are 10 times less per battery, so at the same time with the same charging capacity, 10 times more batteries can be charged, which is more environmentally friendly.
