BEER SNACK represents 3 in 1 innovation; beer wet spent grains flour was used for the production of „beer“ bread sticks – grissini, which can be dipped in so-called beer hummus.
The process of beer spent grains flour production lasts for 8 hours and includes the processes of lautering, cooling, drying and milling. The flour is then mixed with sesame flour, honey, yeast, butter and spices to make a dough for Beergrissini. The recipe for beer hummus for grissini dip includes tahini/sesame paste, chickpeas, light beer with a citrus note, fresh slightly hot pepper, cayenne pepper, turmeric, garlic, olive oil and Himalayan salt.
Beer snack is a highly nutricious food product rich in fiber, protein, minerals, vitamins, etc., and is intended for the general population. It obtains a combination of so-called super food and spices that have proven beneficial effecst on human health and digestion.
