This invention address the need to prevent catastrophic motor failure and satisfy the market’s needs by providing a novel, high-performance, low-cost, easy-to-operate fault detection device for ITSCF. The device consists of two parts: (1) EM generator that energizes RW; (2) EM probe precisely positioned a ferrous metals strip near the RW under test for detecting ITSCF through mechanical vibration.
